Product suggestion. For Alert Cases, make a way for multiple cases to be selected and closed. One composition class is making me crazy today. Tons of hits on key words as they write position/response papers. Their writing is taking up way too much of my time!

On the Alert screen, notices are received for anyone that a document is shared with, but each individual alert has to be closed separately. Please add the ability to bulk close alerts, or alert only on the file owner, but reference collaborators or others that the document might be shared with. This will help speed determination of any collaborators or witnesses, and subsequent interview scheduling that might be needed with those involved.

We need a way to merge or bulk delete alert messages. There are times when a student will share an image of a gun that falls within school activities. We have a trap team at the school. This means every time a student shares an image or even just includes an image of themselves holding a gun it trips the filter AND IT SHOULD! Obviously. However, clearing 30+ alerts one at a time is so time consuming for our dean of students that they are more likely not to have time to use Lightspeed alerts at all.

I need a bulk close/delete option for Alerts. The language arts classes are driving me crazy with their creative writing triggering alerts. It's taking far too much time for me to work through the alerts one at a time. This is more than just an inconvenience I'm reporting. It's really a complaint. I need Lightspeed to give me a better option.

My Sept 16 2025 alerts are a perfect example. Language arts classes triggered dozens of alerts. Ask yourselves if every day when the creative writing classes meet, if you would like to have to go one-by-one through the alerts and delete the same student writers over and over and over yet again another day. This is not daily fun for me. It's worse because I am a 1-person tech department. I need to be fixing things and solving problems, not clearing the language arts department's abuse of the Alert Filter every day. I need something much faster to process.

Another idea would be adding a tag that would allow me to exclude a classroom from generating alerts during school hours. That wouldn't be a perfect fix, but it might help. But, a bulk delete would be totally acceptable.

The lack of a bulk solution is wasting my time and is causing me to consider discontinuing our Alert service. I don't have the time to use the service I'm paying for because the service isn't respecting my time. Very unhappy.
