Students Need to Be Able to Message Teachers!
Casey Defrancesco
The most essential feature of a system like this is for my students is to be able to message their teachers directly. I have students who are Deaf and nonverbal or have IEPs for anxiety disorders and just won't speak. They should be able to message me directly, just like in GoGuardian. The messaging system should also be more accessible. Put it directly on the main monitoring screen rather than make me click each individual student and then click custom.

Hello,
It would be nice to be able to text back and forth with the students. Additionally, it would be nice to have a transcript of our text to students or any back and forth messaging if that capability was activated.

Our teachers are piloting LS Classroom now, but are used to Blocksi. They overall prefer Classroom, but miss the chat functionality between the teacher and student.

One thing GOGuardian had that was very useful was being able to message back and forth with students. I would love to see that added.

STUDENTS need to be able to SPEAK and ask questions to be a true tool in teaching.

PLEASE add the feature that GoGuardian had for STUDENTS to message teachers. It is very flawed for any software to exclude student voice. I need to hear from my students so that I can do more than YAP at them. PLEASE add this feature ASAP.

Two way messaging

A one way chat is not an effective tool it needs to be a two way chat especially if used during a test/quiz.
There are a lot of students that are shy or have anxiety that may not raise a hand to ask a question that they need answered.

A two-way chat feature would be helpful when monitoring students in Classroom.

It would be nice to be able to message or chat with students and then for them to respond. This way they could ask questions and get help instead of coming up to the teacher. This makes for a more inclusive classroom, as well as students get the help they need without the public attention.
