Adding in a date range option like GoGuardian has where you can set a certain schedule for a certain date, or up to a certain date. That way I can remove the normal custom schedule for days where the school schedule is abnormal without having to go ad hock instead. For example, I can say that I want my 3rd period to be scheduled for 10-10:52am from 11/3-1/4 but on 1/5 I want them to have no schedule, or have their session be from 11:30-11:50 instead. Maybe even a yearly calendar so things can be set in advance per day.
