Now that we are have both on and off campus students, we have instances where we want to lock our students' computers for the exception of those that are off campus. If we lock those devices then we lose them from the Google Meet call. It would be great if we could choose students as absent so that they are not included in the class management for the day. It would also be nice to have a check box next to each student for bulk actions, such as locking screens and sending a link to certain students (not the entire class). Having to go through each student is rather tedious rather than just a simple click for multiple students on the same screen. Lastly, the send message feature is very limited. Is there any thought of having a "Classroom chat with a student" feature to be able to chat directly with a student? Thanks for considering.

Make it to where it isn't all or nothing sending out links. Sometimes I have a student or group of students I want on a particular website, but not everyone in the class needs to go there. It would be very helpful if I could sent a link to just that person/group.

This will allow me to send the few students who are not in the correct webpage the link to where they need to go. This will also allow for classroom rewards/extensions for students who are completed with their work.

If students are already on the page and they get sent a link then it slows down their computer. Selecting only a few students who are not on the page they should is helpful in all aspects. At times only a few students get lost and need to be redirected.
