Lightspeed no longer automatically engages the allow or block policy to classes when the class is in session, unless I log in and "shake it awake," which isn't always feasible while teaching a class.

I can't stress enough how important it is to the flow of my classroom to have rules automatically apply on set/custom schedules.

As such, I'd like to request the option to auto engage. If there is concern that it may impact other teachers and classrooms, then 1) provide the school/district administrator the option to override any schedules set by the teacher if there is an absence or a modified schedule to do something like a snow event, or 2) provide the administrator the tools to set the schedule and auto-engage school-wide.
