Every day, an increasing number of students are exposed to the internet. This, in turn, increases the likelihood of them interacting with strangers online. At our school district, we are dealing with a number of students talking to adult strangers online via web conferencing websites (I.e., Zoom, Teams, Webex, Zoho, Google Meet, etc.)
My suggestion is to remove these websites from the "Computer" category (or whatever category they are currently in) and place them into a new category specifically for web conferencing.
This way, schools can block these websites and re-categorize them as needed. Our district students use Zoom, so we could re-categorize that to another category, but keep the rest of them blocked.
