MDM

We have instances where student's lose their Chromebooks but eventually find them. We have no way of knowing it was found unless verbally told so, or having to manually check the site. Having a feature that alerts us when the device is lost but attempted to be used by someone would help our department a lot with these incidents.

Please add the ability to have a device be automatically removed from the device detective when moved out of the "stolen devices" OU in Google Admin.

Currently we manage various school, mainly primary Schools. We have found at various sites that the students have learned how to change the Safari background. We can remove this manually on each device but there appears to be no way to mass block this feature. Can this be investigated/ added?

Would liike to request the ability to manage Android devices within the MDM. Seems like a big untapped market for Lighstpeed. Having a single MDM to manage mobile devices would be a better selling point for your platform.

I am writing to suggest a modification to the Light Speed Agent settings for a specific user. Specifically, I would like to suggest either turning off the Light Speed Agent or switching it to learning mode for this user. This adjustment will help us determine whether the Light Speed Agent is causing any issues or if the problem lies with other security software.

When setting up a new group, it would be useful to be apply to copy a Policy set from another existing group and apply it as a template to a new group. This would make it much easier to ensure alignment between groups/schools, reduce manual effort and reduce scope for manual error.

It would be great if we could set a policy to rename devices based on a variable, rather than having to manually import a CSV/make the changes each time. It would speed up the onboarding process of new devices no end!

When screen layout is applied is iPadOS 18, there is no way to manage the widgets in control center. We need to either allow users to add widgets such as screen recorder as they could in prior releases, or preferably, allow administrators to manage this.
