Something that we were able to do with the Insight program, which was highly effective for class management, was having the capability to lock out student screens individually or the entire class with a personalized message on their screens. This message could last as long as we needed it to last, but it would essentially block the student from being able to do anything on their computers. We could send full class alerts, such as "Work with your desk partner," or "The class is too loud," or even send individual messages such as, "Please stay on task." This was way more impactful than the few second pop-up message that we currently have and the limited time screen lockout that is also provided. It would be nice to have that kind of control in the class, especially when you need to direct kids who want to have minds of their owns when online.

One of the limits we experience is cover lessons. Sometimes these are short notice and so staff are not added to existing classes in time. It would be useful if a Staff member could search for a class and add themselves to it as a teacher for a define period of time.

Can we give educational assistants access to the program so they can monitor the students they work with?

Ability to Give classes a nickname will help me organize. I cannot see the entire title and even though I give each class a color, they are continuously moved out of the order I put them in.

I have a schedule set for my classes, which tells me when they end. However, the blocked list never applys unless I click into the class. This causes my students to go off task from the very beginning of class. Also, if I'm absent they have access to ALL of the blocked sites, which is another issue I have. Can we get the blocked/non-negotiable lists to always turn on if a schedule is set? Thanks.

It would be a great tool be able have the kids go to a website they want to and we can click and approve it and it adds to the list

Be able to search for other classes without being added to the teaching group. Will help for cover teachers and substitute on the day teachers or support

Guest Teacher Mode: The teacher can provide a code, with this code for a teacher to put into a spot on the main class page, that will allow me to see what students are doing when, I cover a class for another teacher that is not at school that day. Or for a sub that is cover for an absent teacher. They will only have blocked list that was already there but cant change setting until given permission to by teacher. It will not interfere with the main teachers page, it will be a new page that is only there for the time there are in the class covering.

Once a student leaves my class, I have no way to remove them.
